About your Hosts
-
Moose Valley Ranch
Returning to her family’s ranch after starting a career as a police officer meant finding her own place within the family businesses. Jessica founded Moose Valley Ranch Inc with her husband Christopher in 2020.
She started working with photographers to host their sessions and quickly diversified into hosting weddings, glamping, hunts, and creating a rural women’s entrepreneur community called Gather. She completely remodeled a 1940s machine shed into a usable space, and builds almost everything by hand.
In 2023 she was named a Rising Star by the Spokane Journal of Business after creating Market in the Mountains, a curated western market featuring small businesses. Jessica focuses on supporting non-profits and community at the heart of it all.

Central Park Farms & Marketing for Farmers
At the age of 27, Kendall ditched the power suits of her corporate career, as Director of Operations in grocery supply chain, for a life in gumboots on the farm when she opened her business Central Park Farms. Fast forward, and eight years later Central Park Farms employs a small team and is a growing direct-to-consumer producer of beef, pork, and chicken supplying the Metro Vancouver market. Having won ‘Farmers Market Vendor of the Year’ from the BC Association of Farmers Markets and the ‘Under 40 Entrepreneur of the Year’ award from the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce, Kendall’s passion is in helping other farmers and food producers gain the tools to grow their businesses for long-term success.

Client Testimonial
“Jess and Kendall did an excellent job about breaking things down, and then giving us free time to actually implement those things into our own businesses. All while making sure every question we could dream up was answered.
They got hands on to do the work or figure out the steps that worked best for each person and each individual business. I personally left with back office tasks checked off my list - things I’d been dreading for years.
Then there were the actual women that were apart of the group. Not often can you fill a room with strangers that when they walk away become friends. That have in-depth conversations about real life, mental struggles, business, and dreams.
I would 10/10 recommend this to anyone who is wanting to invest in themselves and their business. These gals are real life, and the passion they have is unmatched."

Client Testimonial
“Kendall and Jess pair so well together! Not just because they are incredible humans, but also because they each have such different experiences and goals in their own businesses, that their teachings are so incredibly helpful and applicable, regardless of what your personal business goals are. Having people in your corner that are willing to tell you the truth constructively, and walk you through the steps to hit that 1% better is absolutely invaluable.
Also, getting to step outside of my normal work setting and be in a room with such an intimate and brilliant group of women, really diving into so many different aspects of each of our businesses, brought all of our strengths together and I think it's safe to say that we all left this weekend with an abundance of ideas to implement moving forward!”

“I showed up with no expectations and just to see what the weekend would look like. I've been to many other retreats and they all left me desiring more. I wasn't sure what to expect of this weekend. I was ultimately blown away at the knowledge and education I received.
The workbook was so well done, so much information. I loved that Kendall and Jess took the time to actually implement into my business right then in and there the education we were discussing.
They made sure I walked away with actual progress in my business, not just the knowledge to grow, but working progress. I felt relaxed and supported all weekend.
The whole weekend was filled with encouragement, productive working time, laughter and fun!”
