Market in the Mountains
Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring my pet?

Not to the market. Due to the horses on site, and past issues, no pets are allowed inside the market space. Service animals follow ADA requirements.

If you are camping the pet can be in your camper or leashed with you, but no aggressive behavior will be tolerated.

I’m traveling in where should I stay?

You can purchase a spot to camp at the ranch Saturday night. This is for dry camping only, and it is in a hay field. You can tent or trailer camp, but there will be no wood fires allowed. The tickets are one ticket per “space”. If you have an extra large rig or are planning on cramming people in, we would appreciate if you got two spots so we can accommodate you.

Will there be food and drinks available?

Yes! There are lots of businesses to choose from with snacks, drinks, food, and a full bar tent for you to purchase from. Check out the list of vendors here.

What should I wear?

The market is in a working hay field we highly recommend cowboy boots! Or at least a closed toe. If you love western fashion feel free to dress your best, lots of attendees enjoy breaking out all the fringe and turquoise. You’ll be walking on dirt, so choose what works best for you. Layer up, or plan on buying a cute new jacket if the weather calls for it. It does tend to get cooler as soon as the sun goes down.

Can I buy tickets the day of the event?

Short answer, yes you should be able to buy tickets at the gate.

Long answer, if you can purchase tickets ahead of time it is greatly appreciated. Food vendors especially and those that have inventory to plan use advance tickets sales to plan how much they will bring to the market. It also helps for parking and traffic planning, etc. Bonus - If you buy a ticket in advance, then you’re entered to win exclusive giveaway items!

I don’t love the big crowds, when would be a better time for me to plan on coming?

Usually Saturday from the time the gates open until about 4-5pm is pretty busy. The food lines will be longer during lunch time. Saturday evening, and then Sunday afternoon after the gates have been open for a bit are usually a bit more calm. However, especially with vintage and specialty food some things may not be available (Note: there is a lot of other stuff that will be! But if you’re dying for the specific vintage purse you might want to be first in line).

Where is the Ranch?

The ranch is located between Springdale and Reardan on Highway 231. If you head south from Springdale its about 5 miles. If you are coming north from Reardan its about 26 miles. There are two main entrances into the ranch. The south one will be for Camping and Vendor access only, you will not be allowed in without the dash pass that will be sent out to those that purchase a camping ticket, or have a contract for vendors. The north one will be the general parking entrance for everyone else. The address you will want to put into your GPS for

Is this only for people that are cowboys?

Absolutely not! Here’s the deal, I can’t put western and farmers market and vintage and handmade and homestead and hunting all in the same marketing stuff without running out of room, and inevitably confusing people. But you can expect to find a huge variety of things that land in each of those categories, like turquoise jewelry, fresh milled flour, vintage purses, hand carved wooden spoons, tallow products, and steel targets. Check out all the businesses that will be here.

Where do I buy tickets?

Only purchase tickets through our official site here.

Do I need to bring cash or will they take cards?

Cards are accepted! But cash is always great too.
